ABOUT OUR SPEAKERS:
MARK AURAND, Esq.
Mr. Aurand has practiced law in the Lehigh Valley for more than 20 years. Mr. Aurand is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association. He has assisted nonprofit organizations with respect to their formation, in obtaining state and federal tax exempt status, in board governance matters, and in reorganizations and mergers, and has served as borrower's counsel in connection with several tax-exempt, bond and New Markets Tax Credit financings. Mr. Aurand has counseled numer ou s small businesses in the start-up phase and with respect to ongoing legal matters.
Mr. Aurand currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Club of Allentown. He is a member of the Boards of Associates of Cedar Crest College and the Lehigh Valley Health Network. Mr. Aurand is the past president of the Board of Directors of the Community Music School, Allentown, and previously served on the Ethics Committee of Phoebe Home. Mr. Aurand has been an adjunct professor in the M.B.A. program at Moravian College and has conducted numerous seminars regarding health law and nonprofit issues. He is an active member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
MARK GRAZIADIO
Mr. Graziadio brings his experience as Vice President of Marketing for Honesdale National Bank and will share with nonprofits ways to build effective teams to accomplish community goals.
President of Wayne County PA Habitat for Humanity, Mr. Graziadio "walks the walk and talks the talk" of nonprofits. His easy manner and sense of humor will encourage you to put his ideas to work in your nonprofit.
KARL STEARNS
Mr. Stearns has had a varied career in small business ownership, consulting, and professional speaking. A Constant Contact Authorized Local Expert, and Platinum Solution Provider, he is one of a handful of persons uniquely qualified and certified by Constant Contact to present programs on digital marketing. As a professional speaker, Mr. Stearns speaks throughout the United States and Canada on small business topics as a presenter for Profits Plus. He is a SCORE volunteer and has served on the boards of several nonprofit organizations. He currently provides consulting services for several nonprofits.
ROBERT SYLVESTER
Mr. Sylvester has worked professionally as a fundraising consultant and public relations counsel. His many years of service included a position as Vice Present of Institutional Advancement for the University of Scranton. As Senior Development Officer for The Commonwealth Medical College, he was instrumental in assisting to bring this school to northeastern Pennsylvania.
With a wealth of fundraising experience, Mr. Sylvester will share his advice and ideas on helping nonprofits serve their communities effectively.
RANELLI WILLIAMS AND ERIC WILLIAMS
This "dynamic duo" brings their unique expertise to our program. Eric and Ranelli Williams are a husband and wife team who own and operate Empower2Achieve, LLC and ERJ Services, LLC.
Ranelli Williams is a Certified Public Accountant, with over 20 years accounting and auditing experience. She also has an MBA and is a DBA in Entrepreneurship candidate.
She started her career in Corporate Accounting, then spent several years in Public Accounting performing external audits for non-profit organizations, and then spent the last 9 years working for a Prescription Benefit Manager as an internal auditor and project manager.
Eric Williams has a Bachelors in General Accounting and Masters in Taxation. He has more than 30 years experience in Banking and Accounting. He is currently pursuing his certification as a Certified Financial Planner.
He started his career and spent several years in the Banking industry and then worked in Corporate Accounting as a Pension Fund Manager for 5 years. In 2011, after earning his Masters in Taxation, he started ERJ Services, LLC, a tax preparation and financial consulting business for individuals and small businesses.
DAVE YUNGHANS
With more than 35 years of experience in Fortune 100 corporations and as a small business owner, David brings a wealth of knowledge in the areas of business development, professional training, and corporate communications that help small businesses and nonprofits achieve success. Dave’s career experience includes 20 years as manager of corporate meetings and special events for a Global Fortune 10 chemical company, marketing director for a regional fast food company, and art director for a small agency. He has served as a training and development resource for a major casino, and has built customized team building programs for hundreds of businesses across the US, and created and delivered a two-day sales training program for a global automotive paint manufacturer. Dave is DiSC certified, and has presented to more than 35,000 people across North America. As Constant Contact's Regional Director, David leverages his training and business development expertise to help local businesses maximize the power of relationship marketing through the use of digital marketing tools like Email, Social Media, Event Marketing and Online surveys.
