Forces Shaping Healthcare Construction and Design
According to The Advisory Board, the percent of capital budgets allocated to new construction is dropping. Building projects are being cancelled or delayed due to the inability to identify financing. Less capital available plus uncertainty leads to fewer projects. Focus on ambulatory care changes the mix of facility assets. This presentation will offer an overview summary of key information related to health reform and its impact on facility design and construction.
