     The fire crackles within the hearth in the dimly lit library while a full moon casts an eerie glow through the windows.  It is a perfect setting for a mildly chilling tale or two over afternoon tea.  Sharing ghost stories round the fire was a favorite Victorian pass time as listeners gathered to hear a reading of The Raven by Edgar Allen Poe and perhaps a short ghost story by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

 

      Come help us recreate an evening of Victorian Gothic tales read by local playwright and director, Phil Bock.  Phil's rich, dark voice is certain to send a few chills down your spine on this haunting fall evening.

 

 

 

 

*Cancellation Policy: Guests who must cancel, must do so 48 hours prior to the event to receive a refund.  Those who cancel after this 48 hour period will not be refunded unless we are able to fill your spot from a waiting list.

        If the Event is Canceled or Closed (Full):

        If the event is canceled by the Tearoom, the registrant will be contacted by the event coordinator and a full refund will be issued. PayPal will send a confirmation email.

        If the event is listed as closed (full), you may call Laura, the event registrar at (505) 681-3265 and request that your name be added to a cancellation list.
