2Gun Match - 5/9 PM 

Shooters will fall into 5 competitive categories or can opt to shoot in a non competitive freestyle category to complete 4 stages of practical, dynamic, and challenging shooting. With the use of props, walls, steel targets, and barricades our hope is to give the shooter many different options to reach an end goal.

 

When / Where:

Morning session registration begins at 8AM. Safety briefing is at 8:45 AM on the Liberty Range, Match starts at 9 AM.

Afternoon session registration begins at 12PM. Safety briefing is at 12:45 PM on the Liberty Range, Match starts at 1PM.

All shooters must report first and complete registration at PNTC HQ 60-30 minutes prior to match start time! You will receive a match ID bracelet showing that you have completed registration properly. The safety briefing and squading starts at 15 prior to the match so please be on time.

Overview: 

For 2015, Peacemaker National has Tom Pohuski Jr & Zach Webster leading our USCA 2-Gun matches. PNTC 2Gun matches will be held on our Liberty and Patriot ranges, with targets ranging from 7-400 yards.

 Shooters will fall into 5 competitive categories or can opt to shoot in a non competitive freestyle category to complete 4 stages of practical, dynamic, and challenging shooting.   With the use of props, walls, steel targets, and barricades our hope is to give the shooter  many different options to reach an end goal.  The course of fire will follow a 60/40 split between rifle and pistol, and the use of slings and holsters will be required equipment.   Listed below are the 5 competitive and 1 non competitive divisions.

Course Of Fire / Match Info:

  • For this match we will have 4 stages of fire.
  • 4 Squads / 4 stages
  • PNTC will supply the ranges to you if you do not have an adequate range finding device
  • Shooters will engage multiple targets at various yards.
  • Chamber flags are required! We have them if you need them at the office for a reasonable price. Please keep all firearms unloaded, cased and staged until given the command to uncase.

(NOTE: If you cannot register/pay online for any reason (including website failure) you MUST call 304-229-GUNS (4867) and pre-pay your match fee and register by phone. We will add you manually to the list. No refunds are given for any reason other than PNTC canceling the match for severe weather.

Additional Match Info:

- 150 rounds of rifle ammunition and 100 rounds of handgun  minimum required

- NO STEEL CORE OR STEEL CASED AMMO!

- The use of slings and holsters are required, if you are uncomfortable using either please do not register.  If you are unsure, we recommend taking some of our competitive shooting classes.

-Suppressors are permitted (please bring your paperwork if you bring a supressor)

Children:

Please no children under 10 years of age permitted as spectators or shooters! We will have special event days where children under will be permitted. Please do not bring a minor by yourself and shoot in the match. Minors must be under DIRECT SUPERVISON of a parent or legal guardian at ALL TIMES at PNTC. No junior Shooters under age 10. All junior shooters must remain with a parent and must show that they are able to be safe and have good conduct.

Critical Safety Guidelines:
  • Note: New Shooters are welcome However: YOU MUST HAVE SAFE GUN HANDLING SKILLS! Drawing from a holster, re-holstering a loaded handgun, proper muzzle discipline, finger not on the trigger at various times etc. IDPA / USPSA / NRA Action Pistol etc, is not the place to "learn" basic safety skills. If you do not have these skills we will not be allow you to be on the range and participlate. Peacemaker has firearms training which we recommend you take if you are interested in obtaining safe firearm handling skills. http://peacemakernational.com/handgunTraining 
  • Please keep your firearms UNLOADED and CASED upon arrival.
  • Please bring your CASED and UNLOADED firearms to the “Safe Area” which will be located on Range 1 / Stage 1. Other Safe Area’s will also be provided but please use Safe Area 1 upon arrival. NO AMMO is allowed in the “Safe Area!”
  • Ammo may be handled outside the “Safe Area.” Firearms may not be unholstered or loaded until on the line and under direction of a PNTC Range Officer.
  • Once in the “Safe Area” you may uncase and holster your UNLOADED firearm. Please keep your magazine out of your handgun, and DO NOT remove your firearm from your holster or attempt to load until on the firing line when instructed to do so by a PNTC Range Officer.
  • DO NOT handle firearms at your vehicles. Use the “Safe Areas” to case and uncase and or repair firearms.
  • Failure to abide by these rules will result in a match disqualification.
