The session will be taught by Metro State Professor of Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice, Dr. Raj Sethuraju.
The Perceptions and Understanding session will address the facts and myths of sexual offenses and victimization through a panel discussion with professionals, someone who has offended sexually, someone who has been sexually victimized and family members who’ve been impacted by those who’ve offended and been victimized. There also will be a Q&A session thatvgives you an opportunity to ask questions, receive answers and possibly find ways to stop and/or heal sexual abuse.
The Challenges of Reentry will educate you on the many challenges of reentry into the community from incarceration and treatment programs through a panel discussion with community members who’ve successfully acclimated into the community. They’ll share what their needs were, what worked and didn’t worked and their continued challenges.
