Come meet and learn from a true tea master. Bruce Richardson, the owner of Elmwood Inn Fine Teas and Tea Master for the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum, will be here for two special nights. Bruce serves as Contributing Editor for TeaTime magazine and is the author of 14 books on tea. He will be sharing his expertise and signing copies of his newest book, A Social History of Tea.

Teatime was (and still is) a time of respite, where we can build relationships and support our family, friends, and neighbors. In Bruce Richardson's new book, a chapter is devoted to tea in literature, and a close look is taken at the "tea-things" of Jane Austen. Hear Mr. Richardson share insight into the important role tea and teatime played in British society as he shares in person the highlights fromA Social History of Tea.Guests are encouraged to dress in period costume from Regency to Victorian eras.

If the event is canceled by the Tearoom, the registrant will be contacted by the event coordinator and a full refund will be issued. PayPal will send a confirmation email.
