Campus Sustainability Roundtable: Student Coalitions 

Does your campus have student environmental, social justice or other sustainability related groups? Are you effectively utilizing their energy to promote your campuses sustainability initiatives?

This roundtable will gather those from around the state who are involved with campus sustainability to discuss how we can engage with and best leverage student coalitions for sustainability on campus. The event will feature guest speakers Suzie Huminski from Southern Connecticut State University, and Josh Stoffel from Connecticut College.

• 9:00am - Introductions
• 9:05am - 9:25am - CT Alliance for Campus Sustainability Overview
• 9:25am - 10:25am - Josh Stoffel (Connecticut College) and Suzie Huminski (SCSU) Working effectively with student groups.
• 10:25am - 11:00am - Group Discussion
• 11:00am - 11:45am - Green Campus Tour/Activity
• 11:45am - 12:00pm - Conclusion and head to student center
• 12:00 - 1:00pm - Informal networking (optional), grab your own lunch

Who: This workshop will be predominantly for Higher Education Faculty and Staff involved with Campus Sustainability, though students are also welcome.
