Parent and Child Class begins Saturday, November 8th -7 week session 

A wonderful introduction to Waldorf education! This class is for parents and young children ages 18 months to 4 years. Limited space available. Register today! These classes are each Saturday beginning November 8th and will run for 7 weeks.

The natural world and seasonal festivals are reflected during circle time.  This provides the opportunity to learn through music and rhyme.  Games and movement activities engage both large and fine motor coordination.  Stories and puppet plays nourish the child's imagination and provide rich material for creative play.

The seasonal festival during this session is a celebration of the Spiral of Light on November 30th.  Rather than the regularly scheduled class that week, all parent and child families will come together to a darkened community space where a spiral of evergreens will be laid out.  The parents and children will take turns walking to the center of the spiral, lighting a candle and then carrying it with them to lay somewhere on the spiral as they walk out.  This is to symbolize the light we carry within us during the dark days of winter and is representative of us sharing our light with others.
