UU Church of Marblehead Family Promise Training October 15 2014 

Russell Queen, Director of Family Promise North Shore Boston, will present a volunteer training at UUCM on October 15 at 7:00 pm.

This is the short required training class for all those interested in assisting in the Family Promise program to aid families in our communities who are experiencing homelessness. Please join us, using the link below to register.

At the UUCM Annual Meeting on June 1, the congregation voted overwhelmingly in favor of UUCM joining the interfaith network of Family Promise North Shore Boston, a nonprofit agency that provides assistance to families in our communities who are experiencing homelessness. Accordingly, for two weeks (specific dates TBD) during the upcoming church year, we will host the FPNSB families in our church building, providing meals, housing, and companionship while supporting the participants as they strive to get back on their feet
