Reaping the Rewards of Research, Writing and Reporting

Are Your Grant Writing Skills Getting You the Dollars Needed?

This series will help you improve your grant and proposal results. The series is designed to be a succession that builds on the previous session. However, participants choosing to attend single sessions will also realize tangible benefits. Both seasoned individuals as well as those new to the field will increase their knowledge.

All Classes:

  • Checkin and networking 8:30AM to 9AM
  • Class begins 9AM, ends 11AM

Session Descriptions: 

  • Dec. 4, 2014 Successful Set-up:  Create a user friendly template of what is needed to prepare for submitting grants and/or proposals and learn how to research funders.
  • Dec. 11, 2014 Composing Collectively: Create the case for support and/or story that supports a request for funding while providing funders with a clear understanding of the intended results.
  • Dec 18, 2014 Meet the Funders – Panel : Have an open dialog with different types of funders who will share their own funding priorities and strategies for making a decision in a time when resources are at a premium.
  • Jan 8, 2015 Submission Relevance & Completeness : Identify how goals, objectives, implementation and outcomes directly affect the funders decision making process and the overall success of a proposed project.
  • Jan 15, 2015 Evaluation: Understand how to create a measurement matrix for programs, projects, and the seemingly immeasurable.
  •  Jan 22, Reporting Outcomes and Stewarding Funders Communicate effectiveness to the funder by building a report that demonstrates fiscal management, objective measurement, and initial goal impact.
