In this workshop, poet Verandah Porche will lead educators in an exploration of language rooted in place. We'll reflect on our connection with the land and landscape of our community and read, create and share poems drawn from living on the land.

The workshop is offered as part of a residency presented by the Arts Alliance of Northern New Hampshire and funded in part by the New England Foundation for the Arts as part of the NEA Regional Touring Program. We are grateful to Heather Krill and the Lin-Wood Public School, and to the National Writing Project in New Hampshire h for their support.
