It’s lonely at the top! As the Owner or CEO of a successful home care company, you probably feel pretty good about all that you have accomplished.  Yet there are times when you wish you had someone to talk with who really understands your business, your issues, and your concerns.

Now, that opportunity is available to you through Home Care Mastermind GroupsTM

Mastermind indoors Home Care Mastermind Groups are groups of owners and CEOs of non-competing home care companies who get together on a regular basis to exchange ideas and information, solve problems, and provide support to one another. 

Purpose:  The purpose of the Private Pay in Home Health Mastermind Group is to provide a venue for non-competing private duty Directors and CEOs with businesses that are affiliated with a home health agency or hospice to come together for a confidential exchange of experiences, issues, problems, and solutions at regular meetings; and to receive the benefit of reliable comparative operating data.  The objective of this group is to help members improve the overall operating performance of their home care companies.

Your Facilitators:  The key to a successful Mastermind Group is having a facilitator who can organize the group, arrange logistics, lead the discussions, document results, and facilitate communication between group members.

Your facilitators for this group are Stephen Tweed, CEO of Leading Home Care ... a Tweed Jeffries company, and Elizabeth Jeffries, CEO of Executive Mastery … a Tweed Jeffries company

SCT Head Photo Stephen Tweed, CSP is an internationally known health care and business strategist, award winning professional speaker, author, and business coach.  He is the founder of The Academy for Private Duty Home Care, Publisher of Leading Home Care Report, and the author or co-author of six books written for the home care industry.

EJ Photo Elizabeth Jeffries, RN, CSP, CPAE is an award winning professional speaker, published author, and executive coach.  Elizabeth works with CEOs and C-level executives in hospitals, health systems, long term care, and home health care in executive coaching and executive team building.

Your Host:  We are delighted to have as our Host for this inaugural meeting Marki Flannery, the CEO of Partners in Care, the private duty arm of the Visiting Nurse Service of New York.  The VNS of New York is the largest single location home health agency in the world, and Partners in Care is one of the largest private duty companies.

Marki joined Partners in Care at the time of its inception, in 1983 and was appointed President in 1996. She has over 32 years of Home Healthcare experience. Under her guidance, Partners in Care has become the largest Licensed Home Care Services Agency in the greater New York City area expanding staffing, service geography and growth in varying product lines.

Once you have participated in this inaugural meeting, you will have the opportunity to decide if you would like to continue as a member of this group.  The group members who want to continue will plan the date and location of the next meeting, and develop a preliminary agenda of topics for discussion.

Mastermind outdoors Who May Attend?

This Mastermind Group is for CEOs and Administrators of Home Health Agencies and Hospices that have a private duty business, and the Director of the Private Duty Division.

Each company may bring two participants. 

What does it cost to be an ongoing member of a Mastermind Group?

Total costs to participate in a group vary depending on decisions each group makes in the frequency and location of their meetings.  You should expect to spend between $5,000 and $7,000 per year for:

  • Mastermind Group Entrance Fee: $1,750 for first meeting for two participants
  • Annual Participation Fee: $3,500 (beginning in 2015)
  • Travel and lodging to participate in group meetings
  • Shared expenses for future group meetings, including meeting room rental, outside speakers, meals & breaks.
  • Cost of evening meals and side trips associated with the meeting location.

Once you have attended the first meeting of this group, you will have the opportunity to decide if you are a good fit for the group, and if you want to continue.  You are invited to participate in this first meeting to see what it's like, and there is no obligation to continue if it's not for you.

When the group is formed, group members will set the schedule of future meeting dates and locations, attendance requirements, and other ground rules for group membership. This is YOUR Mastermind Group.

This group will be limited to ten (10) private duty companies, with two participants from each company.

Our Hotel:
We have arranged for a group rate of $250 per night plus taxes at the Radisson Martinique on Broadway.  This cut-off to guarantee this room rate is October 22, 2014.  You will receive hotel reservation information in your event confirmation email.

Register Now! The first ten companies to register and pay will be accepted into this inaugural meeting.  Once the limit of ten is reached, we will form a waiting list and if any participants in the first meeting choose not to continue, we will admit new members from the waiting list.
