Learning for a Sustainable Future in partnership with Natural Curiousity is facilitating a 2-day Professional Development experience for educators.
Who should attend?
- Kindergarten and primary teachers incorporating inquiry into their practice
- Elementary classroom teachers addressing how to use authentic inquiry to integrate social studies, science, math and language
- School principals and system leaders supporing classroom teachers with implementation of inquiry and other transformative learning strategies
Outcomes—through their participation, educators will:
- Experience professional inquiry methods that can in turn be applied with students
- Investigate collaborative knowledge building principles and methods
- Gain confidence in planning authentic inquiry learning experiences and applying appropriate assessment methodology
- Explore how inquiry and other strategies maximize student engagement
