Program Description
This program focuses on how nutrition and lifestyle can impact cell metabolism and chronic inflammatory changes that may lead to expression of common and complex clinical conditions encountered in daily practice.
Format
The program content will be presented in lecture format.
Outline
Hours 1-4:
Embryologic & pediatric development and the impact of nutrition. Impact of nutrition on the development of disease; ADHD & Autism; Alzheimer’s disease; Autoimmune diseases
Hours 5-8:
Cancer initiation & progression; Cardiovascular disease; Depression, malaise, and chronic fatigue; Dry eye syndrome, eczema
Hours 9-12:
Endometriosis; Headaches; Macular degeneration; Menopause; Parkinson's disease; Prostate disease
