Birmingham, Alabama Casting Call – ‘Woodlawn’ Movie casting call for featured extras In Erwin Brothers new Film.
In 1973, a spiritual awakening captured the heart of nearly every player of the Woodlawn High School football team, including its coach Tandy Gerelds. Their dedication to love and unity in a school filled with racism and hate leads to the largest high school football game ever played in the torn city of Birmingham, Alabama, and the rise of its first African American superstar, Tony Nathan.
Woodlawn Movie Open Casting Call
Producers are holding an open casting call for featured extras and crowd scenes. Casting directors are looking for people to play a variety of background characters set in Birmingham, Alabama during the mid 70's.
We are looking for all varieties of background actors and actresses. There is high need for African Americans to aide the subject matter of the film, which deals with the racial tensions of the 60's and 70's. It's preferred for candidates to dress in attire with a 70's look to the audition, but if you can't, come anyway.

Auditions are being held at the Pelham Civic Complex in the Banquet Hall. Come anytime between 10am - 8pm, Saturday Oct 25th. The entire process should take less then 20 mins. You will only be required to fill out some paper work and get your picture taken. Absolutly anyone can come and audition. See you then!
