Join us for Pro Bono Week with special guest Taproot!

Nonprofits are constantly struggling to raise enough funds to support the programs that help make LA a better place.  With amajority of funds allocated directly to programming, it is difficult for a nonprofit to devote resources to their website, database, SEO, etc.  Taproot Outreach Manager, Bari Goldsmith, will present on how pro bono service help a nonprofit update their IT has tremendous power to expand outreach to clients, increase fundraising, develop partnerships, and increase the overall positive impact they have in the community.

Bari joined Taproot in January 2013 as a Program & Development Fellow, leading to her current position as Outreach Manager for Taproot's Los Angeles office.  As the Outreach Manager, in addition to managing projects, Bari leads the effort in supporting nonprofit organizations in applying for Service Grants, and develops and executes recruitment and retention strategies for Pro Bono Consultants.  Bari has a Bachelor's degree from the U.C.
