Felting

20

Class Description:

Make a small “pocket” for your business cards, phones, keys, or a special keepsake. Using wool and silk, we will use the wet felting technique to make this cute little satchel.

This project will teach the participants the basic process of felting, suitable for adults of all ages. Enjoy a creative evening with friends and felting.

Please bring:

  • One or two buttons to use as an enclosure for the piece.
  • A scissors and a needle with a larger eye, like a tapestry needle, but don’t purchase these if you do not have them; we can share if needed.
  • A couple of towels and a plastic bag in which to put wet items.
  • Wear clothes you do not mind getting wet; we shouldn’t get soaked, but do know that we are working with water and things happen.

Max class size: 20
Fee: $35 per person
