Presenting on "Stress Management 101"
Course Abstract:
A course designed with the mental health professional in mind. This class includes didactic lecture, interactive protocol, and hands-on-training on how to use quick and easy methods to reduce stress in 20 minutes or less. The program will include relaxation methods such as mindfulness, meditation and movement. Tips to assist the mental health professional find calm and balance both on the job and off.
Course Objective:
1. To provide information on the therapeutic benefits of mindfulness, meditation and movement.
2. Hands-on-training regarding quick and easy methods to reduce stress.
3. Distinguish the usefulness of relaxation models to assist the practitioner in restoring energy and calming the mind.
