Desert Noises came to Mile of Music fresh off a showcase at Lollapalooza and as perhaps the band with the most buzz. They didn't disappoint, and it's awesome to have them back.
Both Nashville returnees -- Daniel Ellsworth & The Great Lakes and Boom Forest, led by John Paul Roney -- were among the most talked about bands of Mile 2, bringing their Indie rock and folk rock, respectively, to several stages at the Festival.
The blues rockin' Ruben made perhaps the most new fans at MoM, delivering tasty tune after tasty tune at multiple showcases.
Bruiser Queen played multiple sets and, quite simply, kicked butt.
Kyle Megna & The Monsoons will carry the flag for the Fox Valley music scene at New Year's Eve on what will be the final day of a very successful year for the rock quintet.
