For the past year, the HYPE Women series has been dedicated to offering programming specific to the career needs of millennial women as well as introducing attendees to women in the RVA community who are leaning whichever way they want.  The final event will introduce Amy George, a triple threat leader in the RVA community.  Her 9-5 is working for the City of Richmond as a Sustainability Management Analyst followed by a volunteer management role in the local non-profit, Ride Richmond which is dedicated to promoting a bike
friendly community through education, programming and events.  Recently, Amy just successfully hosted the first Women’s Cycling Summit which aimed to encourage and empower more women cyclists in the Richmond area. 
Furthermore, and what will be the main focus of this HYPE Women event, is Amy’s side hustle:  her hand crafted fragrances inspired by the scents and sights of Richmond.  Amy will unlock the mysteries of fragrance with a discussion about how scent affects us, how scents are composed and how fragrance design intersects with the other senses.  Afterwards, each attendee will have a chance to create a custom perfume of their choosing.  Check out Modern Atelier to view some of Amy’s signature fragrances.
