Alternative Thanksgiving 2014

Hosted by the Student Life Multicultural Center, Alternative Thanksgiving/Harvest Celebration is an open social and political alternative event to the Thanksgiving national holiday.  American Indian/Indigenous students and allies are invited to learn about history and traditions of American Indian/Indigenous peoples at the time of contact. Food will be served that was common in Ohio in 1830.

This year will also feature live entertainment from Tone and Butch, who create unique and innovative music which combines hip hop with traditional singing and drumming
