Twizted Zombie 5 K Fun Run

Creative Works Farm/Camp LIGHT and Twizted Creationz is putting on our first event of this kind at our Farm.  The 5K runners will run through the beautiful trails of Creative Works Farm. During your run you will encounter obstacles, mud areas, and of course Zombies. You will have "Safe Zones"  free from Zombies.You have the ablility to go around obstacles and mud areas. Be on alert for "Infested" areas where Zombies will attempt to steal your life flags  you start with 3 flags. Please make sure when you register you purchase that extra life flag called a Camp LIGHT LIFE. All money raised is going to the children of Camp LIGHT for 2015 summer camp. This is a Family event; however to participate you must be 14 or older. Complete Rules will be given at a mandatory meeting one hour prior to the race. 

• Participants must arrive for check in by 7:00 a.m. if you are a runner. 
• Participants must have precompleted liability waiver online OR printed and have in hand on race day.  Participants under 18 must have a parent/guardian signature.
• Zombie participants who wish to do their own make up need to arrive in make-up and dressed by at Least 7:00 a.m.
• Zombies who are having make-up completed at the race should arrive by 7:00 a.m. 
• Normal race attire for runners.
• Zombie attire will be  optional shredded jeans, pants, shirts shredded etc.
• After Packet Pick up-registration there will be a pre-race meeting for everyone. Rules are important as safety is number one for us. We will have trail monitors to enforce the rules. More information on Packet Pick up given closer to race day. 
• You are welcome to time yourself however we will not time you. This is a Fun Run/Walk Event.
• Your Race Number will have your emergency contact information.
• We are a No headphone, No alcohol, and Drug and Tobacco free event.

Please note this is a FUN RUN no performance prizes will be awarded. It will be measured  5K; however the event will not be timed.  All Runners have the option of not wearing a belt with flags and avoiding the obstacles and Zombies of you choose. We want to have a successful race so encourage your friends to join you. 

Prizes will be given to Largest team! Door Prizes will be given following the race.

Twizted Zombie 5K Fun Run Event Supports Creative Works Farm Camp LIGHT a camp for Special Needs Children. We will serve Virginia and Beyond. Please check out our website for additonal information about our camp CAMPLIGHT . This Summer we will be having five weeks of Day camps. We are currently acceptng volunteers and camper applications for summer 2015.  Every Runner, Walker, Zombie and participant will be assisting to send 100 wonderful children to camp this summer. Our children currently come from within driving distance until we can complete our facilities and begin our overnight stays. We hope you will take a moment and visit our website which lists all of our yealy fundraisers that are an important part of continuing to grow our camp.

PRICING INFORMATION

*sign ups on these dates will not include zombie run tee.  They will be available to purchase (limited sizes on day of event).

Runners will receive 3 flags (brains, heart, entrails) worn on a belt around their waist.  One additional flag (life) can be purchased for $10 prior to the race.  Once all flags are taken by zombies, you become “infected.”  You can still complete the race, but will be considered an infected finisher status.  Finish the race with at least one flag and you will finish as a survivor.
