Submission Salon 

The Marcella Project Salon is a gathering of women who have an informed conversation about spiritual issues that impact them. At this salon, we'll be discussing submission.

Within the evangelical community a debate rages over the concept of biblical submission. This salon examines the two differing groups. One group argues God ordained a hierarchical structure in which the husband leads & the wife submits to his leadership. The other group gives reason that God called the husband and wife to mutually submit to each other. How does each group defend their position? What difference does it make? Most importantly, what would Jesus have us do? 

Join us at Austin's FoodHeads for informed conversation in a casual environment. Wine and appetizers will be provided, but the location is also BYOB. You're welcome to bring your own wine, beer, and dinner with you to the salon. This will be a small, intimate setting where you can engage, connect, think, and question. Feel free to invite your friends!
