1st Annual Galena Classic Sasquatch Shuffle
2K & 5K Snow Shoe Races!
1st Annual Galena Classic Sasquatch Shuffle will be held on January, 10, 2015 at 9:00AM. Day of registration takes place at the Nordic Center at beautiful Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa from 8:00AM-8:45 AM. The pre-race mood is fun. Never been on snow shoes before? No worries! The learning curve is zero, strap em’ on and go! Jump start your fitness resolutions by trying something new! Participants will have a choice to enter a 2K Snow Shoe Race or a 5K Snow Shoe Race. Feel free to bring your own
snowshoes, otherwise you may rent them from Fever River Outfitters for $10. Rentals will be a first-come first-serve service. When registering online enter code RENTAL in the PROMO box to reserve your snowshoes. Every participant will receive a warm winter headband. Those who finish first in their age group will receive a prize! Walkers are welcome to register for the races as well. Be sure to

What if there is no snow?
WHAT? No snow in January in the Midwest. That would be a first. There will be snow … but if there is not you will be part of history running a snowshoe race in your tennis shoes. If there's no snow, bring your trail shoes, the race goes on no matter what the conditions! How cool is that! If no snow, we will run the cart paths of the south golf course at Eagle Ridge Resort.
You submitting this registration considers the foregoing, I for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators fully release Midwest Medical Center, its successors, officers, directors and
representatives and any other sponsors from any claims resulting from my voluntary participation in the Midwest Health & Fitness Sprint into Spring event. I further acknowledge that I am familiar with the nature of the activities that take place in the course of the 1st Annual Galena Classic Sasquatch Shuffle, and I am cognizant of any dangers to my person or property presented by my participation therein, and I accept any such risk.
