Self-Care Through the Holidays 

Do you put a lot of extra pressure on yourself through the holiday season?

Typically, our already jam-packed lives take on an even heavier load in order to manage massive holiday to-do lists.  During the holidays, many people take a break from engaging in the healthy behaviors that typically help manage stress. Parties and travel shake up our routines. Anxiety and panic increase. We often end up eating and drinking too much, sleeping less, spending too much money, exercising too little and taking very little alone and downtime because we are continuously surrounded by others.

How about doing it differently this year?

Join us for a workshop to learn how to make your self-care practices a priority through the holidays (and every day). We’ll get you set up to actually THRIVE, versus simply surviving the holidays.

Shelley, holistic health coach and founder of A Nourished Life will be leading this workshop to teach about several simple, yet profound ways to commit to your wellness, along with covering the importance of setting intentions.  You will leave armed with vital information and your very own self-care plan so you are ready for happy, healthy holiday season.

In addition, the last 30-minutes of the workshop will feature a restorative yoga mini-class to teach you about the power of stillness, for both body and mind. Restorative yoga uses the aid of props to achieve physical, mental and emotional relaxation. You will also be taught how to practice on your own, with ‘props’ you can find in your own home, so you can use this empowering tool regularly.

This workshop includes three key components:

  • An educational presentation focusing on the top tips for making self-care a priority through the holidays (and everyday)
  • Guided worksheet to set you up for optimal success
  • A 30-minute restorative yoga session at the end

Dress comfortably and prepare to THRIVE (not just ‘survive') this holiday season.

Please bring a yoga mat if you have one, otherwise a mat will be provided for you. Also, bring a bottle of water!
