Sharene Anderson will be teaching our Beginning Serger Classes. She is a sewing, beginning quilting, serging teacher, and Project Linus coordinator for the Moore group. She believes with a serger and sewing machine you can make anything! Please join her at any or all locations, and learn to make your serger your BFF!
The next two months we will be making a tee shirt throw/quilt. This is a very durable, cute throw made with almost all parts of the tee shirt, including the sleeves. You can use tee shirts with or without logos, new or old. Gather them up and prewash them. If you want to precut your blocks, make them no smaller than 10" squares--I am using 121/2", the size of my square. It's going to be fun, and we can gather shirts as we go. The technique is easy, the quilt tough and warm!
