The TASO Baseball Division will conduct their 2015 Annual Meeting on January 17, 2015, at the Hurst Conference Center .  The meeting details are located in the event info block to the left.

The Alliance Chapter will serve as the host chapter for the meeting.

GUEST SPEAKER

TASO is pleased to announce that Lance Barrett (MLB #94) will be the guest speaker at the 2015 TASO Baseball Annual Meeting.

Lance is a former member of the Alliance Baseball Chapter of TASO.  Joined the Major League staff in 2014...worked his first Major League game on October 1, 2010 between the Cubs and the Astros in Houston...worked in the Triple-A Pacific Coast League before being appointed to the Major League staff...began as a Minor League umpire in 2003...previously umpired in Florida Extended Spring Training (2003), Appalachian League (2003), Florida Instructional League (2003), South Atlantic League (2004), California League (2005), Eastern League (2006-2008), Venezuela Winter League (2006-2007), International League (2008-2011), Arizona Fall League (2008-2009), Dominican Winter League (2010-2011) and Pacific Coast League (2012-2013)...entering the 2014 season, he had worked 237 big-league games.

HURST CONFERENCE CENTER

The Hurst Conference Center (HCC), a state-of-the-art facility is conveniently located in the heart of the DFW Metroplex, just 10 minutes from downtown Fort Worth and DFW International Airport. The HCC facility has over 50,000 square feet of event space, a premier Executive Boardroom and outdoor area boasting cozy fireplaces and a relaxing water feature.

The HCC will be offering a lunch consisting of your choice of a BIG Spicy Chicken or Pulled Pork sandwich with a 20 ounce soft drink or bottle water, and a bag of chips all for $10.  Additional items will also be offered at their concession stand.

If you are likely to purchase your lunch at the HCC, please indiciate that on the registration form.

TASO PERSONALIZED BAG TAGS

Register online and order your personalized TASO Bag Tag.  This "credit card" size color bag tag has the TASO logo on one side and your name and "BASEBALL DIVISION" printed on the opposite side.  The name you specify for your name badge will be used on the bag tag.  The cost per bag tag is $5.00, plus tax.

The ONLY way to order your bag tag is to pre-register online before the online registration ends.

HOST HOTELS

Unfortunately there is a big event going on in downtown Fort Worth the same weekend, and it is reaching out and filling hotel rooms in the suburbs, including Hurst.  We have made arrangements for 6 hotels to provide a TASO discount.  These rooms will fill up quickly, so you may want to make your hotel reservation very soon.
