Join us for this 3-session education program that provides answers to the questions that arise after an Alzheimer's diagnosis.
Attendance is flexible (attend one, two or all classes) and registration is free of charge.
Topics covered will include:
Part 1: Tuesday April 7, 2015, 1-3pm – Understanding the disease; adjusting to diagnosis, early stage symptoms; communicating and working with person in early stages
Part 2: Tuesday April 14, 2015, 1-3pm – Building and working with care teams; disclosing diagnosis to others; community resources for early stages
Part 3: Tuesday April 21, 2015, 1-3pm – Care Planning: Legal, financial & safety issues; caring for the caregiver
