Hello ECD Global Alliance Members!

You are invited to attend the International ECD Patient and Family Gathering scheduled for October 8-10, 2015 in Houston, TX, USA. 

We are looking forward to your attendance.  Activities will begin with a dinner for medical professionals and patients/families on the evening of October 8, 2015. The Patient and Family Gathering, scheduled to begin October 9th, will provide opportunities to interact with the ECD medical research community and others in the health field.  Sessions will be held on topics of interest for both patients and their families. Additionally, we will be planning a 2015 Challenge celebration for the evening of Friday, October 9, when our goal of $241,000 is reached!

Please register now! The following is a list of registration rates and their date of expiration.  Please note that this fee is fully refundable at any time.

  • $40.00 from January to March 31, 2015
  • $80.00 from April 1 to June 30
  • $120.00 from July 1 to October 9

By registering early you will help the organization ensure that adequate space and food is available.   

The event will be held at the Houston Marriott Medical Center Hotel in Houston, TX.  Sleeping rooms have been blocked for event attendees at a rate of $129/night. You are responsible for making your room reservations using  the information on the left  sidebar.

. Staying at this hotel will be the most convenient location for attendees and will help the ECDGA meet its contractual obligations. 

Financial assistance to help with travel and lodging expenses for attending the 2015 Global Alliance Patient and Family Gathering is available on a limited basis.  Those not having received financial assistance in previous years will be given priority.  

Please have your request for financial aid submitted by August 3, 2015.  (Exceptions to this deadline will be granted to newly diagnosed patients.)
