Join Us For Our Next UEZ Networking Event - December 8th !

Sales: Sell Yourself. Sell Your Image.

Part of the Lakewood Urban Enterprise Zone’s (UEZ) Business Link Initiative is a mission to help businesses overcome the challenges and frustrations of operating a business especially in today’s highly- competitive environment; Selling Your Image Not Just Your Product effectively and efficiently being one of those challenges.

The UEZ’s Business Link will host its next networking event on Monday, December 8, 2014 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Reception Gallery at the Strand in downtown Lakewood and will spotlight “SalesL Sell Yourself. Sell Your Image.”.  The goal is to encourage open, friendly dialogue in an informal, roundtable setting.  Businesses from all segments of Lakewood’s business community should plan to attend this informative networking event which will include a brief guest presentation by Adam Lieberman who is a nationally renowned sales trainer, executive coach and business consultant. 

Mr. Lieberman’s experience spans over two decades in his field.  He’s personally trained thousands of sales people and business leaders from a wide spectrum of industries.  In this manner, he has been helpful in creating countless sales superstars and building the strength of companies.  His specific and practical advice has an immediate and lasting impact on organizations, senior management, and individual performance.

The focus of the UEZ’s networking events is to provide local entrepreneurs and business owners, sales people, professionals and job seekers with an opportunity to network with each other in an informal setting. It also provides a forum to learn about relevant business topics, share problems and solutions, brainstorm for ideas, make new leads and build alliances. Joel Klein of Immediate Marketing and Business Consulting and previous event speaker states, “The UEZ events offer business owners not only valuable networking opportunities and resources, but also a critical level of awareness, understanding and a mindset that will encourage them to do business in a professional manner.”

Patricia Komsa, executive director of the LDC and UEZ Coordinator stated, “Our latest networking event brings an expert sales trainer and business coach to share his knowledge and experience with fellow business owners and operators.  What makes our UEZ events special is the fact that our panelists take the time to speak with smaller groups to discuss topics in greater detail once the presentation is complete.”

Business Link is supported through a partnership with the Lakewood Development Corporation’s Urban Enterprise Zone program and the Lakewood Community Service Corporation.

Attendees are encouraged to preregister.  

A resource table will be available. Bring plenty of business cards and any advertising material you would like to leave on the resource table.
