Maria's Table

at Cork & Cap Restaurant

Our annual community celebration and fundraising party, Maria's Table, on Friday, March 6, 2015 will be held this year at Cork & Cap. The New School of Lancaster has hosted an annual get-together and auction to raise funds for our school since 1991. This event is the result of nearly a quarter century of people who cared enough to give so much to our school.

At Maria’s Table, we cheer our belief in the unique work of our school, and we dedicate ourselves to our school’s contributions to the vitality of our Lancaster community. It is our school’s primary fundraiser, generating money to support special projects that intensify our children’s Montessori experiences.

Our school community is thriving. We see this in our Montessori children, on fire with questions and ideas.  We see this in our Montessori staff, profound in lessons and stretching to be their professional best. We see this in our alumni and families, taking life paths inspired by New School experiences.  And we see this in our Lancaster community, whose creativity, innovations, diversity and strength are reflected in our school’s core spirit. Through Maria’s Table, we participate in the work of just beyond today—we prepare for our school’s near and coming future, our “new school” of tomorrow.
