Speakers from the Oregon Department of Revenue will be teaching an additional 2 hours of Oregon Update at the Bend, Springfield, Salem, and Wilsonville locations. Please note the difference in class times and register early to get a seat!
Peter Bunce is a Certified Public Accountant based in Bend, Oregon who specializes in complex tax and accounting issues for businesses and individuals. In addition to assisting clients with their compliance needs, Peter advises clients on strategic tax and business planning concepts, as well as assisting them with the preparation of financial statements.
Peter graduated from Oregon State University in 2003 with degrees in Accounting and Finance, and a minor in Forest Products. He began his career in 2003 with a multi-office public accounting firm based in Portland, Oregon and was promoted to Principal after being with the firm for only six years. Late in 2011, he moved to a smaller firm located in Bend with a goal of continuing to provide excellent service for his existing clients while continuing to build his practice.
Outside of the busy season he travels throughout the country lecturing at continuing education seminars on a variety of tax subjects. He has presented to hundreds of tax professionals on a variety of topics including cancellation of debt, year-end tax updates, partnership and S-corporation taxation, among others.
Rick Davey is an Enrolled Agent and a Licensed Tax Consultant based in Gresham, Oregon. He has been preparing taxes since 1981. Rick's experience as a manager of a large tax practice has given him exposure to a broad range of small businesses and their issues.
Rick has taught classes since 1983 and enjoys sharing the knowledge he has gained, both with his clients as well as his colleagues.
