Autism Society of SE WIThis presentation is designed for parents whose children have recently been diagnosed with autism and will be led by Wade Koski, LCSW. The session will cover the basic characteristics of Autism Spectrum Disorders, how families integrate their feelings about having a child with a disability, and how to get started on a path to helping your family support your child. There will be time set aside for audience questions to be addressed.
Autism Spectrum Disorders are currently being diagnosed in approximately 1 of every 68 children according to the CDC. It has become the fastest growing developmental disability in the United States.

About the Presenter:
Wade Koski, LCSW, is a therpist in private practice and a board director for the Autism Society of Southeastern Wisconsin. Wade specializes in family therapy. Wade and his wife Sonia have 3 children. Their oldest son has autism.
