"Making the Pitch" teaches the entrepreneur how to build and execute a fundraising strategy that is appropriate & likely effective for their new venture. Whether approaching a commercial bank, a family member or venture capitalist, there are key fundamental business points an entrepreneur needs to master to successfully raise start-up financing. The class will discuss potential funding sources (not all are created equally!) and then help construct the perfect presentation to use when "Making the Pitch".

Jeff Morgen has over 20 years experience in senior Operations, Finance and Business Development in a variety of corporate settings including high-growth corporate enterprises and early stage start-up ventures. Most recently,Jeff served as Chief Operating Officer for ELT, Inc., an e-learning company focusing on employment law issues where Jeff oversaw its sale to a private equity firm in 2011. Jeff received his BS Degree in Business Administration from UC Berkeley and his MBA from the University of Southern California.
