ORA January Quarterly Membership Meeting
ORA Quarterly, January 14-16, 2015
The new year brings challenges and opportunities and a chance to reconnect with your colleagues. The ORA January 2015 Quarterly is an opportunity to catch up on what you may have missed over the holidays, see what lies ahead in policy and strategize for the upcoming legislative session.
The event opens on Thursday with membership business including a vote on By-Laws changes, and a financial report. Nan Heim will be on hand to discuss legislative strategy around Value the Work Raise the Wage for DSP’s and the QRF law followed by ODDS Director Lilia Teninty and ODDS/APD COO Don Erickson for policy updates and Q&A.
Dana Hittle and Jane Ellen Weidanz will be on hand to discuss the current status of the HCBS transition plan followed by social time in the ORA suite and a light dinner and comedy show at the Red Lion.
Friday we wanted to focus on some positives being developed by ORA members. We invited members to showcase how they are adapting to the new normal and what innovations they’ve implemented in their agencies around DSP retention and professional advancement and employment.
