Representing Survivors of Intimate Partner Violence in Civil Temporary Protective Order Hearings 

AVLF invites you to join our dynamic training for our Domestic Violence program so that you can take part in representing survivors of intimate partner violence.

In order to prepare you, we’ve specifically designed a training that will highlight all that is involved in the process.  This training will equip you with the necessary tools to provide legal assistance and representation to victims of intimate partner violence/stalking who are seeking a civil TPO in Fulton County Superior Court. Training topics will include the Dynamics of Domestic Violence, an overview of applicable state and federal law, and the process/logistics of obtaining a TPO in Fulton County.

3.5 CLE credits will be available for this training. We will process CLE credit for you.  If you would like to receive CLE credits for the training, please pay by check or paypal prior to the training or bring a check to the training.  We highly encourage attendess to pay in advance of the training to secure their seat.

Registration costs $17.50 and covers the cost of CLE Credit. If you do not need or want CLE credit than the training is free, and choose the pay by check option when registering. Registration will close on Thursday, January 22nd.
