A large percentage of clients served by the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation (AVLF) are women. PurSHOEing Justice is a fundraiser designed to recognize the legal issues facing women in poverty and those volunteers and programs who help them. It is about raising awareness, raising money, and raising up women.
This fundraiser supports the Domestic Violence Project's Safe Families Office, Georgia's only courthouse-based attorney-staffed walk-in clinic offering legal protection and safety planning to the victims of family violence and stalking. Help support the programs that serve our clients and enjoy an evening that will feature a designer shoe sale courtesy of Jeffrey Atlanta, accessories by Stella & Dot, a silent auction, cocktails, and hors d'oeuvres. Individual tickets are $75, and 10% of all sales will be donated back to AVLF.
