Money (Finances) 4-Session Class

This 4- part class examines the finances of your business.  One of the most important parts of planning your business is understanding the financial aspects of your business.

In the Money Section of the Business Planning Series you will start researching your star tup costs, learn the basics of bookkeeping and the three main financial statements – Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow, which will help you create pro-forma financial statements. is designed to help you determine how you will manage your business. Without proper management, even the best ideas can fail. 

Class Starts: Tuesday,  March 17 from 6-9 PM

Fee: $60-$120*

Pre-requisite: Starting Smart or similar course.

This class is taught by Debra Armstrong. She brings a unique perspective to entrepreneurial training with a background in both business and education.  She's had experience in chain retail management, small services business management, human resources and with her husband opened a small marketing and fulfillment business. She recieved her teaching credential and masters of education at Dominican University.  Her career continued as an educator for eight years with the Regional Occupational Programs at the Sonoma County Office of Education.  Among her curriculum, she taught entrepreneurship, marketing and employment skills. 

*Class prices on a Sliding Scale based on income.  The scale is based on the HUD guidelines; require an application and income verification.  Classes 4 weeks or longer are available on payment plans.
