Awards for Top Fundraisers

Register Now! Registration is $25 per hound or at least $25 in pledges.

We will promote the Firstgiving link on AZBHR Facebook and HTML emails and ask our supporters to pick a favorite hound or hounds to donate to.

TO ALL FOSTER HOMES - Bring your foster dogs - they waddle free! Please consider setting up Firstgiving pages - Tell the dog's story, how they came to the rescue and that they are a foster looking for a forever home. This is a great opportunity to get them exposure and fundraise at the same time.

Firstgiving Fundraising
Click here to start your Firstgiving Fundraising Page today, then go to the GREEN FUNDRAISE tab to set up your fundraising page.

The honor of Grand Marshal, King and Queen 2015 will be awarded to the overall top fundraiser, and top male and female hound fundraisers - plus they will each receive a very special one of a kind AZBHR Waddle O' The Green figurine. The next top 3 fundraisers with online or a combination of online & pledge sheet donations will be awarded prizes! Click here to download a pledge sheet if you would rather collect checks than online donations.

Can't Waddle in the parade? You can still help AZBHR raise money - pick your favorite hound and donate to their page or help by setting up a fundraising page in your hounds name or use a pledge sheet and raise money for the hounds!

Once you have set up your fundraising page start sharing via email, Facebook, share with family and friends so your hound can be Grand Marshal, King or Queen!

Volunteers Needed
Thank you to Brian Ditsch, he will be the Waddle Boss for the Waddle O' The Green 2015. And a special thanks to Charles West who donated his time to design the 2015 Waddle Logo!

We will need many other volunteers also - if you can help and would like to volunteer email Brian at
waddle@azbassetrescue.org.

Needed:

  • 2-3 vehicles (and drivers) to transport hounds and their humans to the parade start. (Trucks, SUVs, and vans tend to work best)
  • 2 Check-in Volunteers (check-in waddlers)
  • 2-3 Helpers for Staging (setting up, montioring trash, contests, filling water bowls for hounds, etc.)
  • 2 Banner carriers (carry AZBHR banner through the entire parade)
