SBND Institute of High Achievement
Welcome to 2015! This year, we are trimming the fat and launching our new SSN/SBND Institute of High Achievement. Join us on Monday, January 19, 2015 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and learn how our institute will equip you for higher levels of success.
Space is limited! You must register to attend or be invited by an SBND Member and listed as one of our guests.
SSN/SBND Institute of High Achievement Course listings
SSN/SBND Institute of High Achievement is collaboration between stakeholders associated with Strategic Solutions Network, Inc. (SSN) and SSN Small Business & Nonprofit Development Group (SBND).
The two organizations will work to produce supportive services that expand knowledge, experience and resources for individual and community enterprise empowerment.
Students graduating from the program have the basic knowledge necessary to pass certification examinations or governmental applications for recognition as professional service providers.
Knowledge base obtained as a graduate of SSN/SBND Institute of High Achievement will help students prepare to offer certified professional services in one or more of the following disciplines:
- Substance Abuse Counselor
- MBE-WBE-DBE-VBE Business
- Nonprofit Fund Development Strategist
- Campaign Design Email Marketing Expert
- 501c3 Nonprofit Tax Exempt Organization Certification

Members of SBND are eligible for reduction in cost for completing any course offered through the institute according to a sliding scale based on their income. If you are interested in registering for one or more of the courses listed above, attend our kick-off orientation session that is scheduled Monday, January 19, 2014 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and held at our south side office, located in National Black Wall Street Chicago conference room, 4655 S. King Drive, Suite 203, Chicago, IL 60653. .
Doors open for mix and mingle at 5:30 pm. Orientation session begins promptly at 6:00 pm. Those who arrive after 6:00 pm will not be admitted into the session.
