Diversity Summit 

 

The 2010 Institute Of Medicines’ Future of Nursing Report called for a push to Increase Diversity in Nursing. It states that, “A more diverse nursing workforce will lead to better communication, interaction and treatment for patients of all backgrounds”.  The Colorado Center for Nursing Excellence with Support from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation is pleased to announce the next opportunity to address this important issue and develop strategies to increase diversity in our nursing workforce across the state.

 Please plan to join us to address diversity in nursing.  We are honored to host Ms. Barbara Nichols MS RN FAAN, former president of ANA, as the keynote speaker for this event. Additional speakers will be Karren Kowalski RN, PhD, NEA_BC, ANEF, FAAN and Ruby Martinez RN, MS, PhD.

Online Registration Deadline: Feb. 11  -   Cost of Diversity Summit is $30.

Online registration is mandatory.  Registration is not considered complete until payment is recieved. Payment will be due a week prior to the event.  *Any last-minute registrations will require immediate payment.*

Cancellation/Refund Policy: A refund, minus a $15 administrative charge, will be granted if notified
