An Introduction to Tantra

What is tantra all about? Geshe Sherab will give us a good understanding of the meaning of tantra, how tantra works, and why it’s a powerful form of practice if done with the right foundation of understanding and practice. This Dharma Talk will primarily be teachings and questions and answers.

The Dharma Talk is based on an broad introduction to the Tantra practice. This is not suitable for those new to Buddhism. It is required to have attended at least one retreat or series of classes.

About Geshe Sherab

Geshe Sherab was born in 1976 in a small villiage in the Western part of Nepal. He completed his Geshe (equivalent to a Western PhD) degree in 2000. He taught for two years at a center in New Mexico and most recently is the Headmaster of Kopan Monastery in Nepal.
