2015 will mark our 8th year of teaching students around the world the science of long range shooting. For our third consecutive year we’ll help our east coast students by offering the exciting Gunwerks shooting school at the Peacemaker National Training Center located just west of Washington DC.

The Level One (L1) Gunwerks School, taught by Peacemaker Instructors who are certified by Gunwerks to teach the Gunwerks shooting school are now in their thrid year of hosting Gunwerks schools.  During this school you'll see a very practical approach designed to teach all the critical aspects of how to shoot long range. 

The air conditioned classroom and world class long distance ranges at Peacemaker allow us to systematically build an understanding of long range shooting fundamentals by presenting concepts and applying them immediately on the range and in field style shooting situations.  

The main focus for Level 1 is to understand how to select the right equipment and set it up to shoot long range, including:  rifles, optics, ammunition, ballistic programs, trajectory validation, bench shooting gear and technique, and proper maintenance.  Each student will also review and learn the G7 ballistic program, building a practical foundation and obtain understanding of ballistics through this foundational tool. All L1 courses will have a Gunwerks shooting system supplied along with spotting scopes, shooting mats, BR2 Rangefinders, wind-meters and long range gear needed for the class. Customers will be responsible for purchasing 60 rounds of Gunwerks ammunition needed to shoot in the class. Students will also be able to shoot a variety of Gunwerks caliber’s in this class which will help students better understand what rifle is best for their needs. Caliber’s include, 6.5x284 Norma, 7LRM and others.
