Driving Directions: from I-5 take exit 125 and head east, following signs for McChord Airfield. When nearing the gate, move to the left-hand lane and take a left into the Visitor Center. (See below for visitor center info). Once you have obtained your base pass from the visitor center, proceed to the main gate and show the gate guard your pass and driver’s license. Travel straight through the gate and take a left at the first stop-light, on to Barnes Blvd. Follow the signs to Globemaster Grill, McChord Club & Community Activities Center by continuing on Barnes Blvd. and then turning left into the parking lot in the rear of the brick building.


Security: As part of your event registration, you submitted information to assist with base access.  All attendees will need to stop at the McChord Field visitor’s center (off exit 125) with a Picture ID, car registration and proof of insurance (or rental car agreement). Let the visitor center staff know that you are attending the Aerospace & Defense Symposium at the McChord Club.  If you are on the pre-approved list, you will be given a base pass for both days of the event. If are not on the pre-approved list, base security will run a check on your ID while you wait at the visitor center. Please allow 15-45 minutes for processing. If you are attending both days of the event and you are not on the pre-approved list, you will need to check in at the visitor center on both days.
