General Information:

  • Kick-Off - Meeting & 9-hole non-competitive play May 31st.  Rules will be explained at the Kick-Off Meeting and members for the Rules Committe will be selected.
  • Weekly play on Sunday afternoon at 5:00 p.m.
  • Golf Course:  Firewheel Bridges Course on Brand Road, Garland 
  • 9-Holes at $27.50 per person each week (includes small bucket of range balls & cart)
  • Established handicap required
  • $25 entry fee per person for prizes and year-end awards
  • Year end winners:  teams with most accumulated points.  Prizes and awards will be dependent on the number of participants.
Formats:  Play will be alternated between the three formats over a 12-week period.  Each week there are a total of 18 points available in each match. 
  • Four-Ball: A match in which two players play their better ball against the better ball of two other players.(The person with the lowest net score wins points for her team.  Points are split for ties.)
  • Foursome (Alternate Shot): A match in which two players play against two other players, and each side plays one ball.  (The team with the lowest net score wins points for her team.  Points are split for ties.)
  • Single: A match in which one player plays against another player.  The two lowest handicaps on each team are matched, and the two higher handicaps are matched against each other. 
Teams: 
  • Form your own team with a minimum of two players
  • 1-2 alternates are recommended to make sure your team is able to compete every week (people get sick, go on vacation and sometimes just don't want to play - not you or me, but some...)
  • Team Registration deadline:  May 17th
