On October 10, 2015, the Field to Vase Dinner Tour arrives at an unforgettable setting nestled at the foot of lush, terraced hills in Fallbrook, California (San Diego County). Acres and acres of those hills are planted with fresh and beautiful California-grown flowers.

Our host at this spectacular setting is Kendall Farms, a family-owned flower farm with more than 25 years of experience.

With 500 acres of hand-grown greens and flowers, Kendall Farms is the largest grower of wax flower and eucalyptus in North America. These and many other crops thrive in perfect growing conditions with cool coastal breezes and fertile inland valleys.

Founded in 1987 by the late David Kendall and now led by his son Jason Kendall and nephew, Kendall Farms has a mission of growing California flowers with sustainability, the environment and efficiency in mind. The farm relies on its own well water and reservoir system, and employs many green practices, such as water recycling and composting.

We're eager to see you at the Field to Vase Dinner at Kendall Farms --where the fresh flowers share the table with a delicious meal.

Before dusk, as guests arrive for this celebratory flowers-and-food experience, the evening will begin with a glass of wine or beer (from local purveyors, of course) and a guided tour of the fields and flowers of Kendall Farms.

You won't want to miss this evening of flowers, food, friendship -- and a focus on local agriculture in our community.

Chef Richard Bustos of Heart of the House Catering, will create a fantastic seasonal menu for the Field to Vase Dinner at Kendall Farms. 

"I am very passionate about the food that we create for our guests. Guest Designer: Christina Stembel

We’re thrilled to have Christina Stembel of Farmgirl Flowers as our returning guest designer.

Using fresh-picked flowers from Kendall Farms and other nearby flower farms, Christina will create a beautiful botanical installation fitting for the occasion (a followup to the gorgeous table garlands Christina designed for our 2014 Monterey Bay Field to Vase Dinner).
