“"Establishing Adaptive and Agile Netted Systems
To Win In A Complex World"
The purpose of the symposium is to provide an open forum for the latest information and discussions surrounding current and future Army missile programs in a collaborative government and industry environment. The theme statement recognizes the necessity and significance of fully integrating our systems to each other and to our joint forces partners thereby providing the absolute best support to our fighting forces. The forum provides senior government and industry program managers and their staffs with many opportunities to meet and interact with their counterparts. In addition, the forum will allow industry leaders an opportunity to assess their IRAD programs in light of the Army’s S&T focus and the PEO’s current and future program directions with an eye toward win/win collaboration with their government customers.
The symposium is a one-day, unclassified event. The morning session will begin with a Net-Centric Technology Panel followed by the Fires Center, Net-Centric Users Panel. Next, an MDA Update will be given by Mr. Scott Vickers. Our lunch-time Keynote speaker is LTG Michael E. Williamson, Principal Military Deputy, ASAALT. He will be followed by BG Neil Thurgood presenting the State of the PEO. The afternoon session will be focused on TCM/Project Manger/Industry overviews. Panel 1 will center around The Road to Force 2015 and Beyond and Panel 2 will discuss Enabling Integrated Air and Missile Defense.
The conference will take place on Tuesday, 28 April 2015, in the North Hall of the Von Braun Center. Preceding the conference on Monday, 27 April is an icebreaker social at the Jackson Center at 5:00 p.m.
