Keynote Speakers
Laura van Dernoot Lipsky, founder and Director of the Trauma Stewardship Institute in Seattle and author of Trauma Stewardship: An Everyday Guide to Caring for Self While Caring for Others, has worked directly with trauma survivors for 25 years. Her keynotes often touch listeners to the core, but she never fails to inspire audiences with laughter and a profound sense of hope.
Over the last decade, Chadwick Sapenter has worked with hundreds of thousands of current and former foster youth, foster and adoptive parents, social workers, CASA volunteers, government agencies and adoption ministries by sharing his story with brutal honesty, humor and authenticity. You can see some of Chad's work here.
The Oklahoma CASA Association is pleased to invite you to the 2015 Conference, Take Action! This two-day conference is packed with great speakers and new information which will motivate and inspire while supporting and enhancing the work you do with children and families. Conference registration is open to anyone who wishes to attend, but seating is limited, so register early.
Please join us this year in greeting old friends and making new ones as we share ideas and gain insight. At the bottom of this page, you will see the agenda, information about our keynote speakers and workshop descriptions. Below is a link for registration – an email address will be needed for registration. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact our office at 1-800-742-2272.
