Kokedama: String Garden Workshop

Kokedama is an ancient Japanese botanic art form which has been recently revived. You may have heard them referred to as string-gardens or moss balls (even as "poor-man's bonsai"); no matter what they are called, seeing one or a collection of them hanging can inspire the gardener in all of us. Their delicate elegance and simplicity can add just the right element to your patio, landscape or home decor. Our hand's-on class will take you through the steps to create one ball using the plant of your choice and teach you how to care for it after you take it home.

Pre-registration required; $15 class fee covers materials to make one Kokedama ball
