Spring Asphalt Pavement Conference      & Equipment Expo

April 15-16, 2015

 It's one event packed with information. Hear from top policy-makers and respected experts from across the country on asphalt pavement-related  topics that will directly impact your business or your agency now and in the future. This conference is your most efficient and economical way to stay on top of things. What will be covered? Best practices in Hot Mix Asphalt design; specifications; testing; paving; future Pascal Mascarenhas trends; research projects & the status of evaluations. Gary Gallegos Who's on the agenda? Our featured speakers include San Diego Association of Governments Executive Director Gary Gallegos (pictured at left), who will talk about his local sales tax measure program devoted to transportation, plus alternate project delivery and other issues of interest to agencies and the road-building industry. Caltrans District 8 Director Basem Muallem also will deliver remarks on the Inland Empire transportation program and innovative pavement projects. We will also have a representative from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) to discuss various federal initiatives and provide an update on federal funding. We will also get the local agency perspective in our technical presentations.

How much does it cost? CalAPA conferences remain one of the great bargains in the industry. CalAPA members and public agency representatives who register by April 3  pay just $129, and non-members are just $149. There's ample free parking for attendees, and a complementary airport shuttle for hotel guests.
